Nail of the Day: Essie's Pop Art Pink

This is my first NOTD post. I usually change my polish every week so this is in a sense the nail polish of the week. I do my nails at home; I don’t see the point in going in and getting them done at salons. I do like to pamper myself from time to time though, so sometimes I will go and get a mani and pedi but those trips are usually rare.

This week I have on a Pop Art Pink by Essie and its from Essie’s The Art of Spring Collection. I simply adore this color. It is a great pale pink. I do have three coats of it on though. The initial coat was very sheer, but after the second coat, you do get a color pay off. I just like three because I fell as if the two coats are semi streaky so I just live to even everything out. I have this color on my toes too with 3 coats as well. The only downfall I see to it is I feel like it dries soft. This might be because of the 3 coats or the fact that my top coat is old and I’m in need a new one. I just feel like if I do hit my nails on something I have knicks. Also, when I touch it with my other nail, I feel like its cutting through the polish. This post has now turned into a mini review. I do like this color and wear it a lot, I will just have to try it with a new top coat and maybe that will do the trick. In all, I think that this is a great color but I’m not too fond on the polish formulation itself.

Review: L’oreal Go 360 Clean Deep Cream Cleanser

So I had saw a lot of people talking about this face wash and I wanted to give it a try. I saw that it was around $6 and was a little indecisive about it. I am a coupon clipper and proud of every penny I save. I saw that there was a coupon in my Sunday paper a while ago for $1 off any L’oreal product. So after I had gotten that I went to my local Target and purchase it. It was also on sale for around $4 I think and with the coupon, I only spent around $3 for it. So to me this was a great deal. I initially only got this one because of two reasons. One was because it was pink. The other was because I have a daily face wash that I had been using and this was a cream. I have dry combination skin so I thought the cream cleanser would be good for me and rehydrate my skin while being a deep cleanser. So I picked it up and read more about it. It says that it helps clean pore by pore and make them visibly smaller. So after seeing this I knew that I needed it.
I have used this cleanser about 5 times now and I absolutely love it. I think that it’s the best cleanser I have ever used. The little scrubbie thing is great to. I really feel like its working in to my skin with that. The cleanser has a tingly feeling and I think that really helps me to know that I am getting a deep clean. As far as my pores, I do think that there is an improvement to them. They look smaller and I feel like its really helped with the blackheads that I had in my T-zone. I also like the smell the cleanser has to it. I also have noticed that I can just use it at night when I get home from a long day and not only does it clean off all my make up from the day, it also really refreshes my face.
I would recommend this to everyone. Before this, I have never tried any of their products before and I love these face washes. I plan to buy the orange one, which is the exfoliater and the green one which is the daily cleanser. I will also do a review on the other ones when I get them. I also want to try out other products that they carry so if anyone has any suggestions I would love to hear them.
